Noss Head HVDC Works – Global Infrastructure Ltd.
John Gunn & Sons Ltd. were appointed by Global Infrastructure Ltd. to undertake the full installation of all HV and Fibre Optic ducting into Noss Head Switching Station.
As part of this contract, Gunns were responsible for the following elements;
- Setting out and Installation of over 700m of Trench & Emtelle HV and Telecom Ducting from Site Boundary to HVDC Switching Station.
- Supply and Installation of Building Entry Seals for HV Cable and DTS Ducts.
- Pigging & Proving of all HV and Telecom Ducts along the HV cable track.
The works began in December 2021 and was completed by the end of January 2022.
